Description:   Balmex® Diaper Rash Ointment with Aloe & Vitamin E contains Zinc Oxide (11.3%) in a unique formulation including Peruvian Balsam suitable for topical application for the treatment and prevention of diaper rash.

Indications and Uses:   Balmex helps treat and prevent diaper rash while it moisturizes and nourishes the skin. The zinc oxide based formulation provides a protective barrier on the skin against the natural causes of irritation. Balmex spreads on smooth and wipes off the baby easily, without causing irritation to the affected area. Balmex tactile properties promote compliance amongst mothers.

Directions:   Change wet and soiled diapers promptly, cleanse the diaper area, and allow to dry. Apply ointment liberally as often as necessary, with each diaper change, especially at bedtime or anytime when exposure to wet diapers may be prolonged.

Warnings:   Avoid contact with the eyes. For external use only. If condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, contact a physician. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide (11.3%).

Inactive Ingredients:   Aloe Vera Gel, Balsan (Specially Purified Balsam Peru), Beeswax, Benzoic Acid, Dimethicone, Methylparaben, Mineral Oil, Propylparaben, Purified Water, Sodium Borate, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E Acetate).

How Supplied:   2 oz. (57g.) and 4 oz. (113g.) tubes and 16 oz. (454g.) jar.
